Okay, so I've been sorta MIA for the past month or so.

Sorry bout that. I of course was dealing with the lose of my dear doggy, but on top of that dealing with not graduating on time, failing a class, nearly failing a second class, losing my job for some BS about you have to have so many classes in order to work at the school, moving my boyfriend into my parents house with me, being more independent, having my wisdom teeth removed and most recently dealing with the realization that my field is ignoring new comers and there for screwing over my boyfriend and myself. So glad I spend over $75,000 on a degree that might get me a sucky retail gig if I'm lucky. Who knows, maybe I can get to work two jobs with no benefits and move into a shitty apartment. Sorta unfair, huh?

Plus, I love my mother, but she's totally uncomfortable with my living at home with Sean. He and I are desperately trying to look for work and it's only been 7 weeks since he moved in, but she's still completely fed up with us. I feel like I'm losing my relationship with her, which is SO precious to me.

It could be worse though.

Speaking of precious, I just read the book Push by Sapphire, which is based off the new movie Precious out is selected theaters. Okay, it was an AMAZING book! I HATE reading, but this book was so raw and real- none of that flowery description BS- that I couldn't help but fall into it. Is it odd that my two favorite books involve child abuse? o.O
